一个老人在妻子去世后一直独自过着孤独而平淡的生活。一日，他的子女门突然收到他的邀请去参加他的家庭聚会，并声称自己有个重大消息要告诉他们。子女来到后，发现老人是要同一个比自己年轻30岁的女子结婚。于是众人展开了一场财产争夺，也在一定程度上变成了亲情和财产的选择。
