Ten years ago, Zhao Pengcheng, a police officer at the Pinghai Station police office, encountered a suspected gunman while on duty and was misfiring when shooting. At a critical moment, his master Xu Lei stood in front of him and shot the criminal, causing Xu himself to be disabled. This put a heavy mental pressure on Zhao Pengcheng's family and work. Ten years later, an accidental firing occurred in the duty room of Pinghai Station. The police officer Liu Changlu, considering the future of others, decided not to report it, but Zhao Pengcheng, who witnessed the accidental firing, was deeply involved in a decision between emotion and reason. The accidental firing incident was reported, causing interpersonal disputes at Pinghai Station. During the investigation, Zhao Pengcheng and Liu Changlu were attacked. When Liu Changlu fired a warning, a bullet accidentally injured passersby, causing an unexpected firing. As a result, the defendant went to court. The case sparked a legal reflection on the use of firearms by the police. Lawyers Chi Yu and Zhao Pengcheng found key evidence to clear Liu Changlu's charges. Zhao Pengcheng admitted to Liu Changlu that he had reported accicental firing, but was misunderstood by everyone. When facing the gunpoint again, Zhao Pengcheng stood in front of Liu Changlu and quickly killed the criminal. Zhao Pengcheng's firing shattered the spiritual shackles of the misfiring of the past, making everyone understand the correct meaning of his report of accidental firing.
