中国最大童装生产基地浙江湖州织里镇，有18000多个大大小小的童装厂。纪录片主要拍摄了一群来自安徽和河南的年轻工人。长江沿岸的农村青年来这里打工，青春在这个风雨飘摇、极度努力的社会，希望依然存在。
