本片是《西区丛林》导演Arnold L. Miller 的再次尝试。这回儿他吸取了上次的教训，不再只专注于夜生活和性产业而是仿效别人搞了个“大拼盘”，再加上左派工党的重新执政，这部彩色电影稍作删剪后即通过电检并取得令人满意的票房成绩。受此鼓舞一年后续集《伦敦原生态Primitive London》问世。
