The Icelandic band Hatari is used to provoking everyone, but at the Eurovision Song Contest in Israel they could get a unique opportunity. Describing themselves as an industrial BDSM group, they play techno-punk in latex outfits, are anti-capitalist and pro-Palestinian. They won the Icelandic qualifiers for the Eurovision contest and are to perform at the main event in Tel Aviv. But what now? Should they boycott the event, swallow their idealism or use their airtime to criticize the host country for its illegal occupation of Palestine? Icelandic director Anna Hildur joins the boys in the band all the way to the fateful Eurovision final. An insightful documentary asking about the role of the artist and whether they have a responsibility to engage in politics. If so, do intentions even count, without actions? How do young artists navigate the omnipresent criticism? Is it even possible to participate in a system while simultaneously rejecting it?
