故事讲述的是一位女性在婚姻破裂期间的内心生活，她的一颗心也伴随着婚姻的失败黯然失色。她的过去种种以及将来可能要面对的生活通过一些断续的片段和诙谐的方式娓娓道来，我们可以看到她的梦想她的渴望就如同这影片所设定的以放荡为基调的伦敦市一样，而这种基调通过ProculHarum的曲子和Mark Boyle的声光色电俱全的摇滚乐来展示。
