The designers have to find their inspirations in the streets of New York. Working in teams of two they are visiting Harlem, Upper East Side, Chinatown and East Village to find ideas for creating a day look and an evening look.

The designers face a new task that has never been done on any season of the show: The must create their own looks with their own digitally printed fabric that they created themselves.
